Future development near UQE101

Pune's eastern corridor is getting new transport links, including a metro extension and double-decker flyovers on Nagar Road.

• MetroLine 2B from Ramwadi to Wagholi/Vitthalwadi (11 stations) is approved, and preparatory work near Ramwadi began in September 2026.
• RoadsThe extension is planned as a double-decker structure with a six-lane elevated road under the metro viaduct.
• Next linesLine 4 (Khadakwasla–Hadapsar–Kharadi) is approved and under survey, and an airport connector line is being studied.
